Thi (Tina) Nguyen

Thi (Tina) Nguyen was a Japanese translator while living in Vietnam. She wasn't able to speak English when she first moved to the United States, so she couldn't communicate with people. "I felt very stressed and disappointed, so I decided to go to college to study English."

Tina chose Delaware Tech because she had friends who recommended the College. "They said it was great here, so I moved to Delaware from Indiana to study and challenge myself."

Tina advises students to try their best and never give up. "You can do anything you want."

Rob Freeman is Tina's favorite instructor. "He is a strict teacher but I have learned so much from him. He inspires me to study and work hard."

After graduating from Delaware Tech, Tina plans to work as a translator between English, Japanese, and Vietnamese.
